South Harrow mum-of-eight to christen Christmas Day-born ninth child

A MOTHER who gave birth to her NINTH child at one minute past midnight on Christmas Day said the new arrival was "the best present I could have had".

Nora Mongan, 31, of Lucas Avenue, South Harrow, brought daughter Stacey Marie into the world on December 25 at Northwick Park Hospital in Watford Road, Harrow.

She said: "It's my ninth baby and it's a girl. I now have six girls and three boys. I like a large family.

"Stacey Marie wasn't due until January 2 so it's the best Christmas present I could have had.

"My youngest children think Santa Claus brought her here and my older children are very happy with her."

Ms Mongan, who came to Harrow 12 years ago from Waterford in Ireland, said: "I'm a full time mum. I don't have time to do anything else - we go to school and the park that's about it."

Little Stacey Marie, who was born weighing 6lb 6oz, joins siblings John, 11, Celine, 10, James, 9, Nora, 8, Kelly, 7, Ned, 4, Ann, 3, and Nikita, 2, who all share their mum's surname.

The newborn will be christened at Our Lady of the Visitation, a Roman Catholic church in Greenford, where the family worship, on Saturday.

Ms Mongan said: "I have three boys and six girls and people at the church say I'm very young to have all these kids! I have enough now."

We'd like to hear from you.

Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months of hard work due to no back up. Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?
