SIBLINGS have opened in South Harrow what they believe is the first takeaway in the country to top its pizzas with 'slaughter-free' cheese.
The mozzarella used at The Karma Free Pizza Company in Alexandra Avenue is ethically produced by an artisanal cheesemaker in Somerset using milk from an organically-run Jersey cow farm in Suffolk which does not cull its animals.
AN application to change the use from office to education of two buildings in Northolt Road in South Harrow - part-occupied Sherborne House and fully-occupied Bridge House - was recommended for approval yesterday (Wednesday) by Harrow Council's planning committee.
The proposal, which amended an earlier refused scheme, is from the Regent Group
of Colleges that wishes to set up a higher education college with 450 part- and full-time students and 75 part- and full-time staff.
