REDUCE! Reuse! Recycle!
That was the message children at Newton Farm First and Middle School in Ravenswood Crescent, South Harrow, wanted to spread at their special assembly on Friday.

The school's Eco Squad gave presentations and songs about cutting down on waste, walking to school and creating an eco-friendly nature area, and the head of Ofsted, Christine Gilbert, was invited to watch.
The pupils presented Ms Gilbert with a bag they had made from material collected from the scrap bank.
Headteacher Rekha Bhakoo said: "The children, staff and parents make up a formidable team that ensures that the school excels."
