Vacant office space could become homes

Posted by Ian Proctor on Nov 26, 08 12:04 PM in Local Authority

Two empty floors of a mixed-use block in Northolt Road, South Harrow, could become flats like the remainder of the building.
Housebuilder Bellway Homes has applied to Harrow Council to convert the ground and first floors of Raebarn House into one one-bed, six two-bed and two three-bed apartments.
There is already permission to house 150 flats on the other floors, and Bellway Homes says it has marketed the vacant office space to no avail.
