Calling Past Pupils: Help Vaughan School Celebrate Its Centenary
A West Harrow primary school celebrates its centenary this month with a series of events.
Vaughan Nursery, First and Middle School in The Gardens turns 100 this year and has arranged several activities for the week beginning Monday June 16.
This week, the school put out an appeal for people who attended before 1975 to drop by on Wednesday June 18 between 6pm and 8pm to browse the historical displays staff and pupils have put together.
The climax of the five-long celebration is a street party for the children in the playground on the afternoon of Friday June 20, while it is possible an aerial shot of the entire school forming the number '100' could go ahead too.
